Nari Shakti is an initiative by Argus News that seeks to celebrate and empower women from diverse spheres of life – culture, education, medicine, politics, sports, art, business and others. It ignites the spirit of resilience and inspires them to transcend boundaries to strengthen the socio-cultural fabric. It is a platform that recognises the courage, creativity and confidence of women by providing a platform for their stories, thoughts and ideas to be heard.
Argus News is organising a fun-filled event, Nari Shakti Unlimited. It will include women from different walks of life and will cover issues they are facing and how can they achieve their goals of self-respect and self-reliance. The intent of this fun-filled event, is to make a woman aware, and an acknowledged achiever.
ACTIVITY STRUCTURE
The session will include an open debate on 'Empowering Women of Odisha'. The participants from different walks of life, and class of society will express their views and ideas.
The next session will be a Cooking Competition. This would be judged by two renowned chefs of Odisha. The food would be accessed for its nutritious value, taste and visual appeal.
The third session would be a Game Competition, which is also a strength test for the women of society. The games would includes lemon and spoon race, sack race, and a farmer's walk.
